A short intro to diving for complete beginners!

This session provides a great introduction to the sport of Scuba diving, giving you a feel of what to expect on the Open water course should you decide to embark on your diver certification.
We meet at the dive centre for 13:00 returning for around 16:00.

We start off with a classroom lesson lasting approx 30 minutes, your Instructor will then help kit you out in your own dive gear and drive to a sheltered shallow bay.
Once kitted and in the water your Instructor will start by teaching you some basic skills which will help you get familiar with your equipment and get you comfortable in the water.
Once you have mastered theses skills, the Instructor will lead ou further out into the bay for a dive to maximum 10 metres.
On completion of this session the Instructor will sign off your dives on your own log book and you will be able to keep the dive booklet as a momento of your sesssion.

This session is available for any fit person over the age of 10.
You will be asked to complete a medical statment and any persons under of the age of 18 need to provide written parentlal consent.

These sessions are organised every afternoon excluding Sundays.
Non diving persons wishing to accompany the participants can do so if there is space in the transport, fee for non diving participants is Euro 25 per person.
