Join us in Malta for a full week of adventure, learning, and personal achievement as you train to become a certified scuba diver.
This residential brings together young people from across the UK for a shared experience, away from home, filled with teamwork, challenge, and unforgettable underwater exploration.
A Unique Gold Residential: Learn to Scuba Dive
Spend five full days learning to scuba dive in warm Mediterranean waters with one of Malta’s most established centres.
As a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development Centre, we have been teaching divers since 1969 and offer a safe, structured and fun environment for your DofE Residential.
You will learn a completely new skill, make new friends, build confidence, and earn an internationally recognised certification allowing you to dive to 18 metres anywhere in the world.
What’s Included in Your 7-Night Residential
✔ Five days of scuba diver training
Explore multiple dive sites around Malta
Enjoy full days in or beside the sea
Learn core diving skills, safety procedures, buoyancy control and underwater navigation
✔ Online learning completed before you travel
Before your arrival, you’ll receive your PADI eLearning access, allowing you to complete the theory online. This means more time in the water once you are here.
✔ Practical Training Schedule (in Malta)
3 full training days to complete your PADI Open Water Diver skills
2 additional diving days (4 dives) to build confidence and experience
Daily meet time: 08:00
Finish around 15:00 each day
End-of-day equipment care, dive logs and briefings
On successful completion, you will earn a lifelong international certification to dive to 18m.
Accommodation & Transport
Your accommodation is a comfortable apartment with kitchen facilities, just 100 metres from the dive centre.
We also provide:
24-hour airport meet & greet
Transfers to and from your accommodation
Daily transport to dive sites
Easy walking distance to the training centre each morning
Extra nights can be added if flight times require it.

Each programme includes 7 nights of accommodation and 5 training days.
