Our Duke of Edinburgh Residential Week Learn to SCUBA Dive
Join us in Malta for an action packed week learning to scuba dive.
You will be away from home on a shared activity with people you’ve never met before, learning a new sport and gaining a life long certification which will open up a whole new underwater world to explore.
The Activity
5 days Learning to Scuba Dive!
Our dive centre, is a PADI 5 Star Instructor training facility and we have been teaching people to Scuba dive since 1967!
You will get to spend 5 fun days by or in the sea, exploring different dive locations around Malta!
Duration
1 week, a 7 night stay with 5 days of scuba diver training.
It is also possible to book extra night accommodation if you find your flight times or travel days do not fit in with our program.
Dates
Our residency dates for 2024:
1st to 8th August.
Accommodation
Your accommodation is apartment accommodation with kitchen facilities, just 100 metres from the dive centre.
You just need to walk up to meet your Instructors for 08:00 each morning!
Airport meet and greet service, we will arrange for you to be met at the airport and taken to your accommodation.
This is a 24 hour service, so you can arrive at any time of the day or night.
We also provide you with transport to the dive sites and back each day.
The Programme.
Prior to your arrival in Malta:
You will be sent a unique code which will allow you access to the PADI online classroom, so you can complete the theory for you course prior to starting your practical training with us in Malta
Once in Malta :
3 Full days ( 08:15 to 15:00 ) to complete your water work for the Open water level course
PLUS an additional 2 days of diving (4 dives) to gain more experience and confidence in the water
We meet each morning at 08:00 and you will be finished for the day at around 15:00
Once back at the centre, you need to look after your equipment, wash and get it ready for the following day.
You meet up again at the dive centre at the end of the day to de- brief, log your dives and plan the diving for the next day.
On completion of the 5 training days you will achieve a lifelong International certification to dive to 18 meters and become confident in the water.
Equipment
All diving equipment is provided for your 5 days of diving.

Costs
Full residential week package is €1300 per person.
